Algebra Tiles

• OPTION 1: Download a template to print and cut your own algebra tiles

• OPTION 2: Cut rectangles & squares out of 2 different coloured sheets of paper

  • Getting Started: 

    • Click Backgrounds then Equation Mat 1

    • Click Algebra Tiles and use the x rectangle as your variable tile and the 1 square as your unit tile

    • ​Once a tile is on the mat, it can be clicked to turn it into a negative tile​

• Linear Equations and Algebra Tiles (generates linear equations for you to practice solving with the algebra tiles they provide) ​

  • Getting started: ​

    • Put tiles in the center box and click Apply to do something to both sides​

    • Drag a positive and negative tile together to zero them out (they will then disappear)
